Sophie Anderton modeling on the catwalk. Miss Anderton is not quite so confident in the Celebrity Big Brother house at the moment, and getting a lot of stick for her refusal to admit to having used Botox. What do you all think??

The Workers
1 shot from a recent photography commission where I had to highlight 'the people behind the places' around Carnaby Street in London. I love these sort of jobs.... where you need to blend in with people very quickly, so they forget and be themselves.... armed with my beloved Fuji X-Pro1 I was able to quietly click away... I hope you can feel the Intensity that i felt watching this head chef working away.
A Mod approach to Retro
My latest post here shows a recent shoot for none other than the very talented people of Hair - Mr Nic Davis and Charmaine Piche-Baker of Simplicity Remastered Hair Studio in London's Fitzrovia.
Nic and Charmaine had the idea of showing some cuts from the mod era, with a modern twist .... Bikes were loaned by some very generous and helpful enthusiasts and i think you'll agree, look amazing!
Thanks to all involved for their help on a very hot day! especially my amazing assistant for the day - Gabriel Harvey! ;)
Feel free to comment, like or share... and if ever near Charlotte Street, get yourself an amazing hair cut !
Its a dogs life
32 degrees in London yesterday ... and i was doing a job which involved me visiting 32 different locations to shoot them .... this was one of them and couldn';t resist this owner trying to keep her dog cool .... shave might help! ;-)

some faces are just too good to miss
Fulham Market .... colours, hustle, bustle and faces that have their own story. :-)
Can you hear me mother?
For me, this little moment is just the reason I love my job so much ... whilst out working along the London Southbank recently, I spotted this young chap in a world of his own .... probably mid being beamed up to an alien spacecraft ..... bless him! We've all been there!

London Cityscape Photography
This is why I LOVE my job! My brief - 'Shoot some Iconic London Landmarks and Cityscapes along the London Soutbank'. NICE DAY AHEAD! Although i had to rise at 5am to get down to Tower Bridge to catch the sunrise, it was worth it! Every time I have to do a job which involves getting up and out in the dark, I am reminded that there is nothing better than being in London as the sun rises. it really is the best time of day to be in London! Still, calm and truly beautiful ... until the hoards arrive and the buzz takes over again. So, as i was going to be walking around all day long, i didn't want a trailer load of backbreaking gear with me, so opted for my ever m,ore popular choice of kit - my Fuji X-Pro 1... in a tiny bag with 3 lenses and a spare battery, a very small Manfrotto tripod and i'm done! discreet and light, i can crack on without feeling depressed each time i know i have to pack up and move on! I started by shooting east towards Butlers Wharf from St Katherine's Dock at sunrise and then spent the day strolling and exploring the Soutbank from Rotherhithe to Westmisnster Bridge...
I'd never been up the OXO Tower and had this in mind for the end of my day. It was thoroughly worth it. I was a bit worried about rocking up there in my jeans and North face photographer kit! ... but the staff were very lovely and guided me to their free public viewing balcony outside - where i was able to wait for the light to drop and the magic of the city lights to come to life! I wasn't sure how the Fuji X-Pro 1 would cope with long exposures on its small sensor ... but i am very impressed with its clarity and low light noise levels. Not to mention again its sooooooo small! Chuffed!

A little showcase of images from a recent interior photography shoot I did in a beautiful home in London. Interiors photography is actually one of my favorite types of work I get to do. I hope you enjoy the images and get some design ideas of your own! ;)

Commercial Portrait Photography in London
Its amazing how important that first impression can be of a person you meet for the first time or intend on possibly meeting for the first time. Thanks to business owners wanting to appear more 'client friendly' and interactive these days, I find myself doing more and more Staff Profile Photography shoots, Commercial Portrait photography and even Personal Profile Photography. Everyone has a website, Facebook page, Blog, Twitter account etc etc and so the need to display yourself in your best light has never been more important. People are often surprised how quickly I can rock up with my kit create something striking of them and their team on their own business premises or in a location of choice. London is and amazing and powerful backdrop, so I use it whenever possible! So ... if you feel like you and your team deserve some fresh portrait photography in London or anywhere else for the fresh new year.... give me a shout! ;)
