What can I say .... other than I LOVE these boys!!!! ... Everytime I meet them and work with them, I leave with a big smile on my face .... they are just loveable, bonkers, creative TALENT!! Sneak Peek - Music Promo Photography with Tankus The Henge

Today I met up with my crazy friends - Tankus The Henge! I've known and been photographing these lovable lads for the last 4 years now and there has never been a dull moment. With the arrival of their new Drummer, their manager thought it about time we got some new promo shots done... so we headed to the wonderful floating Dutch Barge that is 'Tamesis Dock' on the London Southbank of the Thames... Apart from being a great location, Neema the lovely lady who runs this ship (literally) provides some lovely food and drinks....! get down there and check it out! its magical! :)

The Tankus boys were in fine form, even if it was an early start... and we soon got going with some cheeky antics....

Tankus The Henge ~ "the most fantastic band in the world" ... On a Boat !

[slideshow]Wowza, my good friend TANKUS THE HENGE  invited me down to their latest gig, aboard a beautiful old barge moored up on the embankment of the Thames. I haven't seen the boys play live since they took on 3 new members. Tim Fulker - Guitar, Vocals. Seb Laverde - Drums and Louis Schultz-Wiremu - Saxophone. For anyone who hasn't seen this band, i can only say you must!! I defy anyone, and i mean anyone to not find themselves jigging along to these boys eclectic beats. They are truly a sight to behold and the energy they give off is infectious to say the least! Jaz Delorean - Keys, Lead Vocals, squeeze box, Trombone and Table tapper was in hight spirits, and gave me a wink when he said, wait till you hear us now with the new boys on board! He was so right!! Dan Mason - Bass, Vocals and crazy Jake Stoddart - Trumpet complete the line up. I am looking forward to going along with the boys to their amazing appearance they have confirmed at the HOP FARM FESTIVAL on the 1st-3rd July. Prince, Iggy and the Stooges, The Eagles, 10cc, Lou Read, Bryan Ferry, Morrissey and many more all playing!!

Big congrats to Tankus for getting onto this line up. They are def going places, so get along to a gig of theirs while you can still get  to enjoy them up close and personal, at their very most craziest!

Screen on the Green - Comic Strip LIVE

Last week i had to whizz down to Screen on the Green ~ one of the everyman Theatres, based in Islington, London. This super funky Cinema have decided to break the mould and start presenting late night comedy on a Friday night for 2 months ... so you can go have a few bev's along Upper Street, get in a jovial frame of mind then park your bum on their quirky sofa's for some hearty giggles.

Mr Drew Barr ~ Comedian is your resident host and compare. There will also be a burlesque show and music provided by the most fantastic band in the world, 'Tankus the Henge'
