[caption id="attachment_2070" align="alignnone" width="580" caption="Leaon Camier at Donnington Park WSBK 2011"][/caption]Staying with this weeks biking theme, i thought i would put this pic of the day up for my friend Leanne, who has just got the photography bug!! This was shot using a Nikon 80-200mm lens, at F2.8 and 1/350th sec at ISO200. Quite a dull day but still managed to get a fast shutter speed owing to the wide aperture. Hope this helps Leanne :-) Enjoy... and lets hope we see a #33 plate doing WSBK next year as well!! (Go Tommy!)
British Superbikes Final Round - Brands Hatch 2011 - Tommy Hill is Champion
As a lot of you already know, i am and always have been a bit of a bike nut!! ;) Yesterday was the Final round of the 2011 British Superbike Series at Brands Hatch. I have been lucky enough this year to have a full media pass, so have been trackside, pit lane, on the grid and anywhere else i could poke my head in to get a shot and photograph this amazing race series! Its one thing loving Bikes, but when you also love photography, then this is just the dream gig!! Rubbing shoulders with my heroes has been the most awesome experience... and one that i hope will continue for many years to come!
Massive congratulations to Tommy Hill for a 110% deserved 2nd race win and overall championship. Poor old Hopper fought like an absolute demon and there was half a wheel length in it at the end to decide the champ! Both absolute Gods on two wheels!

I thought to continue the summer theme as we are experiencing this AMAZING sunshine weather into October!! I took this photograph down on the Southbank of London, kids were playing in the fountains, the sun shone.... magical. Hope you like :-)
