Bikes and Babes - British Superbikes at Snetterton

A few shots here for all you bike fans. As some of you will know, i am a BIG bike fanatic. I have been since i was 7 years old when Santa Claus delivered a sparkly new Red Montesa Trials bike! :-) Since then i have been hooked, so combining my other love of Photography is just a dream for me. This coupled with sunshine and the odd eye candy, what more can you ask for! ;)

This is the first round of the British Superbikes race series I have been able to get to this year, but i wasn't too worried as all the other races were in horrible cold wet weather ... Snetterton proved yet again to be a cooking pot!

British Superbikes Final Round - Brands Hatch 2011 - Tommy Hill is Champion

As a lot of you already know, i am and always have been a bit of a bike nut!! ;) Yesterday was the Final round of the 2011 British Superbike Series at Brands Hatch. I have been lucky enough this year to have a full media pass, so have been trackside, pit lane, on the grid and anywhere else i could poke my head in to get a shot and photograph this amazing race series! Its one thing loving Bikes, but when you also love photography, then this is just the dream gig!! Rubbing shoulders with my heroes has been the most awesome experience... and one that i hope will continue for many years to come!

Massive congratulations to Tommy Hill for a 110% deserved 2nd race win and overall championship. Poor old Hopper fought like an absolute demon and there was half a wheel length in it at the end to decide the champ! Both absolute Gods on two wheels!

Enjoy!!

British Superbike, Cadwell Park ~ Sun 23rd May

WOW! What a day I had yesterday! my perfect day, Motorbikes, Photography and sunshine (not to mention the grid girls :) My good friend Paul Hood of mirror.co.uk asked me to come along to capture a flavor of the action at Round 4 of the BSB British Superbikes britishsuperbikes.com at the incredible Lincolnshire race circuit ~ Cadwell Park.

The turnout was fabulous, thanks to soaring temperatures and the promise of some spectacular racing. I was lucky enough to be Pit lane, mingling with the riders, teams and soaking up the hectic atmosphere as pre race tensions started to bubble.

Having been a biker myself since i was 7 yrs old, i have always thought i was quite alright on 2 wheels, but these guys are just GODS!! Hats off to everyone involved. A top day out .... and i shall def be getting involved again .... and shall be armed with a Lonnnnng lens next time, so watch this space...
